Volunteer

Buffalo Soccer Club is always looking for committed volunteers to help with our program. Previous soccer knowledge is not required, but enthusiasm for working with children is a necessity. Head Coaches must be able to commit to being present for at least 90% of all sessions during the season.Co-Coaches or Assistant Coaches are asked to be present as often as possible and to work closely with their partner coach to make sure that there always somebody present to work with the kids.Coaches will be assigned to age groups (age 4-14) based on experience, availability, and preference. We will provide coaches with orientation materials, coach's training, and a coaching manual. Interested in volunteering, fill our or Coaches Interest Form and a staff member will be in touch!

Volunteer Referees

We are always looking for volunteer referee's for our game days.  Fill out this Referee Volunteering Form, and we will contact you ASAP.

Volunteer referees DO NOT need soccer or refereeing experience, although a sports background experience is helpful.

The game style that we follow is small sided games (age appropriate field and player size) that are geared for getting many "touches" with the ball, many goals, and lots of fun!  The age groups and amount of players playing at once are as follows:
Kindergartens - 2nd grade - 3v3 small sided games
3rd - 5th grade - 4v4 small sided games
6th - 8th grade - 6v6 small sided games

We will provide a quick training and T-Shirt upon arrival to your first refereeing experience.
