BSC Announces Its First Varsity Soccer Player

Caver Makes Hutch-Tech Varsity Squad as a Freshman

Buffalo Soccer Club is proud to recognize Nicole Caver for making the Varsity Soccer Team at Hutch Tech High School. Nicole is the first athlete from Buffalo Soccer Club who has tried out and made her school’s varsity soccer team.

Nicole joined Buffalo Soccer Club in 2010 and played for our U12 girls travel team. Although Caver had never played organized soccer before, she quickly became a standout goalkeeper on the team. Her hard work and great saves made a strong impact on her teammates.

During the 2011 season, Nicole was above the required age to play on the team, however, she attended practices and games in order to train and aquire more soccer knowledge. She was a consistent leader and her mature attitude helped guide her teammates throughout both seasons.

Nicole is hopeful that she will be able to play travel soccer in 2012 and plans to take the referee’s course this November as well. We are very proud of Nicole and her success.
